COLLABORATION, SEAxTLC/Magic Mangosteen Pendant, Silver

The Magic Mangosteen Pendant – a collaboration between TLC store and Seala Lokollo-Evans.

Known as the “Queen of Fruits”, Mangosteens are a native fruit of Southeast Asia of white flesh with a sweet and sour taste. It is prized for its medicinal qualities and grows upon a tropical Evergreen Tree. The Mangosteen (or affectionately dubbed “Mangosteam”) is a symbol of childhood memory and experience for Seala, Linda and Thea. They all believe it possesses magic and brings good fortune to its wearer.

This piece has been hand crafted by Seala in her Melbourne studio using a lost wax casting technique.
